Gallery & Gift shop
Showcasing and supporting local talent and skill while providing an income to support the running of the site.
We also have many other bits and pieces in our gift shop. Something for everybody. Come and take a look!
Accommodation
Three classrooms have been renovated into accommodation to provide backup for local events, weddings, funerals, and working bees. We also use the accommodation facilities for families in need, for short periods of time, and as an income stream to fund other community initiatives.
Facilities Repair & Refurbishment
Since the site was unoccupied for four years prior to Kawerau Bible Chapel buying, it required a lot of work to repair things such as water damage, vandalism, and general degradation.
Old classrooms have now been modified to better suit the needs of the community, such as the division of rooms for retail space, and accommodation.
Edgecumbe Flood relief
After the Edgecumbe floods in April 2017, we became a collection point for donations, which we then fed out to the other refuge centres, for distribution
